OP, yes entirely possible.

I gave up caffeine a year ago. Started sleeping much better and had more energy than before. Didn’t hit the wall in the afternoon nearly as much. I miss the taste of it but not enough to go back.

lol no, millimolar concentrations of caffeine in the blood would be toxic. This study is irrelevant.

Separate from the caffeine, I LOVE coffee. Love it. We drink half caff at home, but I'd drink full decaf if I had to. I'd rather give up booze.

I stopped coffee two months ago as well and i have noticed no difference in appearance, sleep or mood but I never expected to. I just did not like the feeling of being addicted to it.

I cut it down significantly—only drink half caff or ever 1/4 caff in the morning and I sleep so much better now! I wasn’t even having coffee after ~10am either, but it really affected me.

Would never give up coffee. Ever. But like a PP, I only drink it in the early am and have never had sleep problems.

I drink decaf and stopped. Then, my liver enzymes went up as a result. So I am back to drinking decaf.

How is espresso different than black coffee biologically speaking?

Green tea makes me sleepy unless it’s matcha green tea. I can’t drink regular green tea in the morning without needing an afternoon nap.

coffee dries you out. You look more alert and rested when you have plumper skin.

I stopped drinking coffee a few months ago, and I *am* better rested. It really messed up my insides, exacerbated my anxiety, and was bad for my sleep. My skin looks better and my hair is thicker/shinier, too.

I will drink a cup of caffeinated tea a few days a week but the impact is totally different. Plus there’s much less caffeine per serving as compared to coffee.

I stopped drinking coffee about two months ago and think i look more well rested. Eyes look less tired, complexion seems brighter.
Am I imagining this? I may be sleeping better. This could explain it. Also drink green tea every morning instead.

I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed positive changes when stopping coffee.
