Our church never went back to shaking hands, but people still say “peace be with you” to those around them. I would be okay with shaking hands again, but it also doesn’t bother me to not shake hands.

I shake hands. But then again I work in person 5 days a week

I stopped. I turn, smile, nod, say something. But shaking hands seems weird now. Some people do but most don’t at my church. Same with my in laws in a different state at Christmas.

That is so sad.

I haven’t shaken hands for the sign of peace (or held hands for the Our Father) since the 1980s

We never went back to hand shaking. Waves, peace signs, and so on but few handshakes any more.

I’m fine with it.

My church does not shake hands for the sign of the peace. Honestly I prefer this.
