I'm ready for new leadership. The SNAP debacle was bad. As for crime though, I think whoever is mayor is going to face headwinds – namely Council, AG, and USAO

Bowser was literally the “moderate” Democrat in the primary. The rest were waaaaaay more lax on crime.

Bowser is dumb but arrogant, which is not a good combination in an executive. Her very cosy relationships with real estate developers are suspect and are now being scrutinized by federal authorities as part of the Falcicchio probe. It’s past time for her to go.

I would bet the majority of people who support Bowser are not born and raised in DC. Always find it amusing to talk to these transplants who act like they are DC natives. Only thing funnier are the people from MD and VA who say the are "from DC" and when you ask them, they say "Bethesda" or "Arlington"

I never thought I would long for the days of Marion Barry

The city council had to threaten to sue her to get her to implement a law that she signed, that would give families getting food stamps an extra $50 a month. She's awful.

Do people feel like it’s time for her to go? I can’t believe how bad the police force and city are doing under her leadership, not to mention the crime and lack of major projects to improve the city.
