A 45 minute concert and a 3 hour event...I think you need more than fruit and cheese for sure.

Thanks! Exactly what we are looking for. Much appreciated.

In case it’s not obvious, make sure the anancini and Caesar salad are GF, no shared fryer and either use GF croutons or skip them.

Sushi, for the Japanese, is supposed to be a special event food. It IS upscale.

Also, is she going to Curtis? Did she win any international competitions?

I'm a bit curious about the type of family who would do this. We're in the classical music world, my teen has played violin for 10 years and participated in competitions and been concertmaster of her youth orchestra, and it would not occur to any of us to do this. It's not a question of money, since we could afford to. But she gets invited to perform, so at home we just like to relax.

But then again, why not? If your child is happy, then it's all good.

If it ends at 6pm you need more than snacks/finger foods. Especially after sitting through a 45 minute vanity project.

Good idea! Thanks!

I am hosting a senior recital for my graduating senior. She will play a memorized 45-minute piano program for our close friends and family followed by a reception at a local mansion. The event begins at 3 PM and ends at 6 PM. She is anaphylactic to gluten, peanut, pistachio, and cashew. So many afternoon snack finger-foods have wheat and I'm having trouble thinking of catered foods that will work for her. Maybe I just bring the food myself?

cheese
fruit
????

Maybe I should just buy the trays from Sam's Club?

She wants a candy bar thing with jars of candy for favor bags

I'm going to order those OMFG Gluten free cupcakes from bakedbymelissa.com
