It did occur to me that you probably will need a VPN to access class because you’re technically not supposed to take school laptops out of the country. I don’t know if you can access what you need on a personal laptop.
Unless things have changed, no one checks or cares about this. During the virtual time I had students openly logging in from all over, including other countries. I was happy they joined the class. Occasionally they still tell me they are going out of the country for a family emergency and will keep up with work. I can’t ever remember anyone bringing this up as an issue.
As a parent, I would look into a different PE virtual class somewhere else to transfer in the credit that didn’t meet live before I’d try to have my kid log in daily from a cruise. There are other options out there where they can be completed at their own pace. Google it and check with the counselor about transferring.
