Wesleyan got rid of the DKE fraternity, which was the one place on campus that catered to true bros who just wanted to chase girlz and have a normal college experience without all the "activism" and wokeness.

Not for a frat bro studying finance. He'll be fending off attempts by the wokes to cancel him for four years. The same is true at Wesleyan.

Try Colgate as a reach, Bucknell as a target, and Trinity/Union as safeties.

Vassar may be appealing too.

I know it has an artsy reputation but the kids who have gone from our HS are quite mainstream.

I am in finance and know people from Wesleyan. They loved it and are doing great.

Not really. Why not Bucknell?

Why not?

Because it would be helpful to know if there’s a reason the school appeals to him. Does he know anything about the place? Or did he throw a dart at a map and it landed in the middle of Connecticut?

Wes is not the first place I’d think of for a normie athletic male interested in finance. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t be a good fit, but knowing why it’s on the list would help me, at least, give a better answer. Is he being recruited for a sport? Is he looking for a LAC that’s not too small? Is he into the arts scene? Does he want to major in film?

I posted on the thread about Hamilton or Wesleyan. Check that one out. My DS is there and has had a good experience. There are a lot of (boys/men?) kids like him who are majoring in fields are not theater, film, etc. It’s a nice campus in a cute, vibrant town with easy access to New York and Boston.
