Subject: Reviews for Summer at Potomac?
My kids did the Potomac soccer camp and it was awful. The staff said it was too hot (with very normal DC June temps) so they had the kids inside watching movies for a huge chunk of the day. They were watching 2 full movies a day, plus lunch.
The camp was supposed to include swimming but the staff said the kids took too long to change so they didn't even bother trying to swim after the first day.
It was a huge disappointment for a very, very expensive camp.

As a general comment I will say their bus drives me crazy (i.e., it doesn't keep to schedule).
NP but since you asked…looking at Tinkering or one of the fashion options. It looks like Tinkering is taught by a Potomac teacher and the others by a hired company (DEAN Adventure Camps). Not sure if there’s a difference in quality between the two types.

Meant to add my younger child is a rising 4th grader and she’s already talking about camp and won’t consider any others - I’ve asked.

I like it because my kids are happy, the hours are good, and I’m not running a taxi to multiple camps at different times all summer. It keeps us on a schedule.
