My son plays for Wootton but it is probably similar at WJ. They have summer workouts open to all players (new and returning). They are a combo of informal player led and coach led. Kids came and went as summer plans allowed. The coach workouts started in July. They also played in a summer league which I believe runs late June - July. It’s all optional but highly recomended. Tryouts took place starting August 9 last year. You must attend if you want to be considered for the team. Contact the school’s soccer coach. If you can’t find the info, try the athletic director. Current families are also a great source of info.

You might be talking about summer conditioning. Why don't you email the coach or AD and ask?

I heard that the soccer team allows kids not on the team to practice them for a week or something last summer. Is this regularly done? Does anyone know which week it was? Trying to plan summer vacation. Thanks.
