If you do this, I highly recommend starting once per week acupuncture now. It is not often covered by insurance but I believe it really helped me.

I know of people who’ve gone to India for IVF, but they had family there. It still cost $5-6k per cycle.

I am from Turkey and have many friends who did IVF. All were happy

For donor egg I am 100% for Europe. Great outcomes at a fraction of the USA price.

Personally, if my own eggs don’t pull through I have already decided on donor in Zlin in the Czech Republic.

Now, your situation is different and difficult. My advice is to move onto donor. Take what money you have left and throw it at a likely solution. However, I understand that donor is a big complex decision.

For own egg abroad, I heard an interview with a couple facing DOR/low AMH + previous failed IVF cycles who had success in Greece with this doctor: https://hiniadis.com/
She was younger but faced similar obstacles to you. She has twins now.

You got the 5% right, that’s what my current RE said. My other option would be to go to CNY or New Hope for a mini Ivf in NY (their success rates are pretty terrible though). I wish I had more insurance coverage, I would have stayed with my current clinic, but I find the price tag hard to swallow, $20k a cycle for 5% chance! We just went through 2 failed cycles (one got canceled and the other failed implantation), and had a miscarriage over the summer… so kind of worn out, and trying to think outside the box, I’m finding it hard to give up

I thought CNY was pretty affordable? Do you have embryos left or no? I've had 6 miscarriages, 5 back to back and I finally consulted with one of the few reproductive immunologists in the US and he did extremely detailed work up, found my issues, and actually is treating all of them before my next transfer.

I was just talking to a friend with the same diagnosis in NYC who is about to start the last IVF cycle covered by her insurance, which has a lifetime max of 3 cycles. She is looking for to switch jobs to get a new insurance to start the process over again, but is also considering going to Thailand where it would be much more affordable. Even with insurance she’s paid 8k per cycle to pay for tests and medicines or out of network doctors that aren’t covered. She’s half Thai and is comfortable navigating their medical system, plus her parents built a retirement home there so she has access to housing.

We did it in Prague. It was about 5K for everything and took about 3.5 weeks. Only got one embryo which didn't take.

Hello! We can no longer afford paying for IVF in our current clinic (~$20k) a cycle including meds, and burned through insurance benefits!
Now considering overseas options such as Turkey and Spain! They seem to have good success rates and are rather affordable!
Wondering if anyone has had any experience seeking fertility treatment overseas, and can share ?
