I like Natasha’s Kitchen. She recently released a cookbook but her blog has a vast number of recipes. Same with Once Upon A Chef.

It’s the right time of year for Molly Steven’s All about Braising.

Smitten Kitchen Keepers is great, and most of the recipes are super simple.

Maangchi's Real Korean Cooking helped my very white self make foods I loved to buy and couldn't afford to keep buying.

If you're serious about cooking and interested in the science, J. Kenji Lopez-Alt's The Food Lab is the grail.

OP here, Thanks for the recommendations! I remember seeing the announcement about WCK cookbook, but never ordered. Looking at Milk Street, too. FWIW my go to book the last couple of years has been America's Test Kitchen the Complete One Pot book. It's falling apart from overuse.

I got a new Melissa Clark cookbook for Xmas as well as a new copy of Mark Bitman’s How to Cook Everything (our old copy was falling apart after 17 years of heavy use). We also have his Food Matters cookbook, which I like but use less.

I love Madhur Jeffrey’s vegetarian India as well (if you like Indian) and Cool Beans (if you love beans).

A Common Table (Cynthia Chen McTernan) - eclectic and not huge but a very high percentage are recipes I actually want to cook and have cooked for weeknight meals. Ginger scallion chicken and dumplings is a standby.

Six Seasons (Joshua McFadden) - this one is a huge, long book, full of veg-focused (but not necessarily vegetarian) recipes, including lots of little gems. Kale sauce with any kind of pasta on heavy rotation.

Looking for some new cookbooks for inspiration. I have several Ina Garten and America's Test Kitchen titles. We like all types of food and I do quick weeknight meals and more involved weekend cooking. Any newer titles I should consider adding to my library?
