It is a good tournament but terrible location and so expensive.

The Sheraton is gross and the overwhelming smell of urine and the numerous drunks in the connection to the convention center was terrible.

There is no where in America I would like to go less than Atlantic City. The first time I took my kid to this tournament, there was amateur cage fighting in the lobby of our hotel with dwarfs (the Showboat) and also a lingerie fashion show by college designers. Right by the elevators.

This is the regional tournament over Presidents Day weekend. I hate that city. I hate all of those nasty hotels, now our team finds Airbnbs one or two towns over after too many nights in hotels with drunk people from the casinos.

The kids really like the tournament if they're into futsal. It is futsal from dawn to dusk, with some amazing teams and lots of action. There is usually a few fights (some between players and some between spectators). Last year chairs were thrown. Parking is expensive at the convention center but the food isn't too bad in there, there just isn't much choice. Walking around the CC are the sketchiest McDonalds I have ever seen with lots of strung out locals and an Applebees with a 2 hr wait because there literally is NOTHING ELSE OPEN close by.

Best tournament I've ever seen. Lots of fantastic talent all in the Convention Center. I recommend airbnbs. Hotels should run discounts that time of year.

Agree with the above. Fun tournament. If you can stay at the Sheraton that is attached to the convention center, it's super convenient. Otherwise would head outside the city. Expensive entry fee for spectators, plus daily parking fee. Expect all the food places close to the convention center to be packed.

Good tournament. Terrible city.

We went last year and thought it was a fun experience. Lots of high level play by teams from DC to Boston. It's fun to be able to participate and see it all under one roof.

It has drawbacks, including lots of downtime between matches, the weather, fees, and downtown Atlantic City itself.

I'd recommend finding an air bnb down the beach in Ventnor or Margate. They're really close and I thought it was nicer than the hotel options near the convention center.
