I hear you, OP. I don’t necessarily hate my friends but I can’t relate to most of them anymore. They are all either SAHMs or trust fund babies and I have a full-time job and a volunteering gig. They are so clueless and try to call me on the phone at 10 P.M. on weeknights or ask me to meet for lunch on a Thursday! Also, they talk about nothing of substance. Instead of talking about world events or the news, it’s about parties they’ve gone to, reality TV, and their toddlers’ favorite snack.

Are they like this? Maybe you just aren't on the same wavelength anymore.

Why don’t you find your people? You are allowed friends outside of couple friends.

OP, am sorry to hear you feel this way.

You sound angry + possibly even depressed.

But if you feel like you truly do hate these people - it would be best if you just stop socializing w/them in general.

You are truly not obligated in any way, shape or form to continue communicating w/them if they bug you to this extent.
I dream about moving away from everyone and changing my number. We have a group of about 5 couples that we are friends with all in the same area. Close? I guess. I was recently a bridesmaid for one. And they plan things regularly/weekly.

I'm just so done with everyone though. It's all shallow and I find myself so bored during interactions. They don't even know me. Which is my fault because hello walls and masking. But sometimes I wonder why all the effort and theatrics.

On day we will move and we won't be friends any longer. And aren't we just prolonging the inevitable.

It doesn't help that we just come from completely different worlds. They are all so entitled and in their own bubble they have no sense of what the world is really like. It's exhausting.
My high school teacher accidentally gave me a lifelong mantra: ‘If you think you hate everyone, have something to eat’

When you don’t feel like you can trust people, masking and putting up walls is a typical response. Does that lack of trust come from behaviors your “friends” are exhibiting, or is it rooted in an issue stemming from your past experiences? If the former, get new friends. If the latter, try therapy.

Branching out never hurts. Is there someone from work you could get to know better over coffee? Could you volunteer somewhere new? Is there a hobby group or club where you could meet new people?

You don't have to reach out to them or accept invitations from them. Reach out to people you want to become friends with and move towards creating deeper relationships with them.
