Same, lol.

The Elements of Style by Wendy Wasserstein
Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld (DCUM is where all the characters ended up as grow ups)
Lake Success by Shetyngart
The Nanny Diaries

Nanny Diaries was great.
Sittenfeld also wrote a contemporary version of Pride and Prejudice set in the UMC in the Midwest.
Non-fiction but a lot was made up so maybe it is fiction: Primates of Park Avenue. Fun.

People in the Dutch House were rich, but they were way, way too self-aware for DCUM, lol

What is the appeal of this kind of book? I can’t stand them so am curious what others like about them.

Maybe try The Latecomer. It’s about a wealthy NYC family that has triplets via IVF and many years later has one more child via the remaining embryo.

Not sure what this genre is but rich people as the main characters with complicated relationships, motherhood/parenting, etc. I have enjoyed Elin Hildebrand in the past but Fleishman/Pineapple St. feels like a different set of wealthy characters. I am not opposed to more challenging reads too but going through a bit of a tough time, so maybe all I am looking for is more DCUM-type books.
