As someone whose friend is a vet and has several locations of their practice, yes please say something. You can choose your delivery method so if you want to keep it light and say maybe they were overwhelmed or having a bad day and are hoping it’s not the norm, the vet wants to know this. Especially if the employee is in a training capacity. They may just need more oversight. When my friend opens a new location, they want to ensure that their clients receive the same level of service they’re used to.

1000000% yes. She is in a position where even if she doesn't care she needs to come across like she cares as it's her BLEEPING job. Tell the vet.

I would give her another chance. It makes me appreciate my super friendly vet receptionists!

You would be within your rights to complain, OP.
It's likely their first opening day is filled with emergencies and everyone is highly stressed, which would explain, but not excuse, her tone. Personally I would let it go, but I understand if you want to mention it to the vet.
