Maybe 6 hours total. I wake up around the 4 hour mark and it can sometimes take awhile to get back to sleep. Welcome to old age!

Same here, and yet I'm always tired.
I used to be a night owl and also need a solid 8-9 hours of sleep at night, but 8 years' worth of having babies/little kids seems to have created some sort of internal alarm in me. I rarely make it past 7AM even on weekends, no matter how little sleep I've gotten the night before. Thus, I never feel fully rested.

10 hours. I do it about 1x month and its amazing. Usually 11pm to 9am. My usual schedule is only 7 to 8 hours and I always feel tired.

I don't have kids or an alarm, and rarely sleep more than 7.5 hours.

I won't sleep past 7:30ish no matter what time I go to bed. I'd say about 8-9 hours is a good sleep for me. I feel okay on about 6 though, and if I sleep more than 9 it makes me more sluggish.

I sleep in probably 2-3 times a month (husband takes the kids for a morning) and each time I sleep a solid 12 hours straight.

I need about 9-9.5 hours a night to be fully rested, and always have. I talked to my doctor about it in my late 20s (pre kids) when it seemed like everyone but me had outgrown sleeping until noon on the weekends, she ran some tests and basically told me everything looked fine and needing anywhere from 6-10 hours a night is in the range of normal.

Of course with two kids under 4, I don't get 9 hours a night, so catching up is key. Generally I'm asleep by 11:30 and awake at 7:30, so I do get a solid 8 a night. I wish it was more. We sleep trained aggressively at 4 months, and I just hate the newborn phase because missing sleep is the WORST part of parenting (at least so far) for me.

Last night being an example. About midnight to 7:20.

I tend towards 9.

I go to bed around 10 and wake up around 6:30.

On a weekend I might go to bed around 11 and get up around 8 (or sometime between 7:30-9:30 if we have nowhere to be).

If I happen to get 6 hours one night it's fine. If I get 10 it's nice but I don't feel that different. If I happen to sleep after 9:30 I feel sluggish and guilty and gross, so I avoid that. Even when I know I can sleep as late as I want to I will set my alarm for 8:30 because I know that's enough.

7 to 9 hours is what most adults need.

I sleep 9 or more. I’ve always been a ‘long sleeper’ (that’s the actual medical term).

I sleep 8-9 hours. When I need to wake up early, I try to go to bed early, but it's difficult to fall asleep in normal work/school periods.

I am on my first 2w vacation in 10y, and finally have kids old enough to not wake me up - and have found the answer is 9 (!!) hours. No wonder i am exhausted all the time normally
