Yup. Heard it too

In Kensington I heard it more than felt it. There was a cracking sound and then something like thunder, but longer and not too loud.

I heard a bang (I was in bed but reading) then my house shook for a few seconds. Funny how I immediately thought earthquake, not train passing or anything else. The Silver Spring near Rockville.

Yes. I couldn’t sleep and then heard this low nouse noise as well as shaking. My mind first jumped to terrorism. Still can’t sleep. Sigh.

I’m in Beltsville and heard a loud noise and movement for about 2 seconds around 12:50AM….checked here to see if it was an earthquake

We felt something in Silver Spring. I thought it was a ver fast airplane (sonic boom?), but DH convinced it was an earthquake

I felt it in McLean. It was 12:50 when I glanced at the clock.

Is that what that was? We heard rumbling and felt shaking in Damascus.
