You can also try MSI Classic League unless you really hate MSI. It’s a level between Rec and Travel.

Depending on where you are geographically, gaithersburg and OBGC both offer rec soccer.

Try sam soccer at Montgomery soccerplex. I think you can sign up for rec as an individual player. If you can't find a team, email the directors and ask for a team that needs a player. They have rec and some easier travel.

Hi, Is there another league for rec soccer that might be better in terms of coaching and player culture/stability? My kid is not too athletic .. but he loves being physical and loves playing. I feel he just needs the right coach/environment that is not all about winning but still pushed in the right direction technically and loves the game. Is this a unicorn? It would be sad to see him stop playing.. (even at the rec level).
