Most undergrads in the T100 are good. But I'm only willing to pay 300k for a name brand with strong ascending reputation. Is that NYU? That's what I'm asking.

Absolutely, schools like NYU, USC, and Northeastern will keep on rising.

USC is known as a school for those who couldn't get into its rival - UCLA. In terms of quality, location, and cost, many choose USC only after they were rejected by UCLA. I am inclined to think the same thing with NYU, US News ranked #35. It's an option for those who didn't make the cut at Stony Brook -- SUNY, US News ranked #58,

That was maybe 30 years ago. keep up in the 21st century.
NYU had around 10% overall acceptance rate compared to Stony Brook close to 50%
LMFAO you are clueless.

Ok NYU booster.

Not everything is about NYU. Some parents are concerned about its low ROI, low FA - but high cost. It's not a good choice unless you are flush with cash.

I’d say it will probably maintain T50 but higher than that is questionable. It is the rich kid school in NYC.

NYU is not special among many other privates for price.

OP, if money is no object, then NYU can be fantastic for a student admitted to Tisch, Stern, etc. But if a student/parents are going into debt to attend, then they should consider other, less expensive options.

More like T30.

It depends on colleges but highly selective for Stern, CAS, and Tish.

Stern and CAS had 7% acceptance rate last year.

I’m surprised it was ever considered T25.

If you see me OP, you can tell I don't mean in a literal sense.

I know it dropped quite a bit this year, but wondering if it's still WashU/Emory level. Is it worth the cost over those schools?
