Baseline tip is $20 pp for this kind of thing. As others have said, more there are complications.

I normally take 10% of the cost of the appliance and divide among the number of workers.

In our old house, the delivery people had to take the doors off and squeeze it through a really narrow doorframe. They also moved our old refrigerator down to the basement. We gave them $30 each because they spent a lot of time and worked really hard.

In our new house, all they had to was take the old refrigerator out and bring the new one in. They were in and out in 15 minutes. We gave them $10 each.

+1. Usually, I tip $20 pp if a more difficult lift/install, $10 otherwise. I do not think it is expected or mandatory.

We have a jar in which we throw extra cash. Between that and whatever was in my wallet that’s what I scrounged up. $10, $12, $20…it’s a number.

I’d take $12 over $10.

We tipped $20 each fo the fridge delivery last month. We are in townhouse and the kitchen is on the 2nd floor with narrow staircases.

We just did this! It was really easy so we tipped $10 each. I would tip more if you have narrow door frames, they have to remove refrigerator doors, etc.
