Go through Network for Good. It’s a 501c3 donor advised find that passes the money to the charity so you can do it anonymously.

As someone whos currently trying to get off texting lists from political / charities that are intended for their parent, but somehow have my number . (she has never used my number, but at some point in time Verizon associated my cell phone with her address and that was game over ) . If she gave to Charity A, they automatically added her to a list for Charity B . and then so on .
As someone who hates spam, I use a throwaway email for any purchases, even lululemon or reputable stores ,assume anytime you give your email it will be sold. for all purchases but hotels/airlines/credit cards / banks and never give a phone number at check out.
The best piece of advice is :
-do not use real names - So when I buy something Instead of John Appleseed I may do 'J Apple Seed' or JA Apple Seed ' or just ' JA ' (May not be as easy if you have an apartment building)
-Give in Cash in Person, Put all fake info in their CRM database if they ask, If you care about getting a receipt for the IRS, if may be tricker, I'd do a fake address, and phone, but real name.
Tbh If I was elon musk rich one of the first things I'd do is run for state office and enact something to stop this ridiculousness

Same. I especially like st Jude’s but can’t stand the mailings. What a waste of donations to keep mailing people nonstop.

One charity I donated to sent me mail for over 13 years without a donation before they gave up.

I tried giving through a work campaign once and that got me on the regular mailing list at home.

Also sick of university alumni mailings. They confuse me because if you give once, they step up the frequency of begging during the same year.

I remember that my dad actually used to get money orders and mail them to charities so he would stay anonymous.

Throwaway email. Because you interacted with them, it’s not considered spam.

I would like to donate to a few charities but I do not want to get inundated with emails, texts, and mailings from that charity and every other one they sell their lists to. Is there a way to donate without being added to these lists?
