Dave Grohl's is great! I think it was called The Storyteller. He talks about growing up in Springfield, VA, his path into music, his time with Nirvana, and his family. It was fun and he's a good reader.

I started MM's book and could not stand it! I've been on a binge of celebrity memoir audiobooks - really enjoyed a whole bunch (I'm Glad My Mom Died; Matthew Perry; Rachel Dratch of all people; Molly Shannon; Steve Martin; Prince Harry) and just could not even listen to two chapters of MM. I'd heard such good things about it, but he just bugged me!

I've heard really good things about Viola Davis's and may give that one a listen.

Just inhaled quietly hostile by Samantha Irby and it’s hilarious. More essay collection than a memoir but so so good

Just listened to Patrick Stewart's autobiography, read by himself. He is wonderful to listen to read anything, but his story of his Yorkshire childhood and early theatrical training and career is just great. The portions about his Star Trek time will interest fans and the last few chapters about the recent past are skippable, but the first half of the book is SO GOOD I would not hesitate to put it on your list.

I just got done listening to "The Boys" by Ron Howard and his brother Clint Howard. It was about growing up in Hollywood. It was 13 hours long and narrated by the both of them.
A lot of the book was about their relationship with their dad. Their dad had wanted to be a big star himself but kept only getting background parts. However, it seemed every time he took his boys to an audition they got hired. So their dad gave up on being a big star himself and just mentored his sons with their careers.
I liked it.

Mika Kellys book was so good surprisingly, and in some ways similar vein as I’m glad my mom died.

Looking for a memoir. Just listened to ‘The Less People Know About Us’ and ‘I’m Glad My Mom Died’ and LOVED them. Now I’m looking for something similarly engaging.
