I would avoid desckcape and unlock escape games - they are more of a card based game and not a good intro.
Of the above, I like the exit game series the best - they are very clever, but the werewolf game has all the fun gadgets.

Search on Amazon most of them are for 10 plus but there is one that was spy themed ages 3 - 6 so might seem childish to your kids.

Subject: Good at home escape room in a box
I thought my kids would enjoy doing an escape room in a box for New Year’s Eve. Any recommendations? My kids are 8 and 10.
