Subject: Restaurant/event space for party?
For a 35th wedding anniversary, I’m thinking about hosting a gathering with friends and family.
Do you have suggestions for the following?
—A space where we don’t get stuck at tables the whole time but can move around and talk to people?
—We don’t care about dancing so don’t need space for that.
—A sit down dinner feels too formal for our vibe.
I’d host this at our house but don’t want to have hosting duties prevent me from seeing and talking to guests.
What else should I consider?
Is it possible to rent a club on an off night and have food catered?
I welcome any and all ideas as I’m just starting to think about this.
