Have you ever looked at the 2020 external committee report? The NV and V are well within range for admitted AAP kids. In fact there was a note in the 2020 report that many teachers claim that too many students in AAP read below grade level.

This board wants to act like AAP is still GT and only 5% of kids belong in it. But that's not the case.

Both the CoGAt and iReady are different than test they receive on a regular basis and it is not surprising they won't get a perfect score.

What do you mean by “writing samples”?!
My son writing is not that good but he is very good in reading and math .
When the appealing time ? And is it allowed to provide a coding samples ?

Your school will likely submit a decent writing sample, and with those scores, your child is likely in. In odd chance it doesnt happen, be prepared to appeal and have your own writing sample to submit.

He always get full marks + bonus at the school !

Social Economic Status: ie poor vs middle class vs rich. Poorer schools tend to have lower test scores then rich schools.

Yep, only fall iready is submitted w packet. If you end up appealing you can submit winter scores w appeal.

Is there any Iready winter test ?
How can I prep my kid for it?
Actually we are new here I just saw my son Iready test score and I surprised
He always get full mark in math at school test and never need my help !
His score 85% and he usually do better
He is good reader and he read hours daily but his reading score 80%
But it’s ok since english is not his first language but what can I do to improve his scores
Does this scores effect in AAP ? His cogat score 141
