It's an Amazon/Warner Bros production.Not A24.

A24 as a vibe, not the literal production company

It's like someone crossed Brideshead Revisited with The Talented Mister Ripley, but with amazing cinematography and bad writing and acting that is okay at best. And then added a bunch of gratuitous gross sex stuff. It's kind of like, "Look how avant gard we are showing full frontal nudity!" But it is really just super tedious and boring and gross.

I'd like a spin-off version from Duncan's, the butler, viewpoint.

From the NYT review: The whole movie seems to exist for its coda, and presumably the prosthetics designer whose name appears in the closing credits. It’s another music-video fantasia, but so cynical, literal-minded and literally cheeky that I cringed my way through it.

Bizarre and dark but also funny and stylish.

What did y'all think? I thought it was the cringiest thing I've seen since Blonde. That naked dancing nonsense at the end was the absolute worst. A stupid ending to a bad film. Gorgeous cinematography and sets and costuming though.
