Furthermore, the emphasis in education should be on in-demand skills. Hence, certain books might be seen as cultural distractions. The priority should be to guide our children towards STEM and technical English, rather than left-wing ideology. Left-wing perspectives can be explored outside of school, perhaps at your Unitarian Universalist church or through external clubs.
