A a I’ve never gotten spoiled or day old food. It’s always same day.
Some place are a better value than others. Some bakeries give out mini desserts like eclairs or croissants and it’s really not worth the effort to pick up.
In general, I’ve been happy with my bags. It’s more of a treat since most of it is not healthy. I don’t need to be eating pastries on a daily basis or pizza for that matter.

I use it for a few favorite bakeries that tend to give out a lot in each bag. I freeze the goodies and then bring them back to life in the oven.
But YMMV. Read the reviews and know that popular stuff sells within minutes.

Hit or miss. Some places better than others.
Rasa bowls are $6 but they are valued at $18 which they are definitely not. They are smallish and worth about $6.
The places are not sketchy. I’m picking up food late, sometimes at 9 pm. It’s safe.
Sometimes it’s just not worth it for a single bowl or a small bag of pastries.

I live in ft. Lauderdale and it is useless. Everything is sold out before you get a chance. Not worth the time.

I love it! As a picky eater some places are off the table for me, but there are enough places where everything on the menu is good to me that I keep the app. We the Pizza is a favorite. It’s not fresh, it’s usually from the day before, but I enjoy the lottery factor, and I love any + all pizza, including leftovers. Some places give you fresh stuff from that day, it varies.
I have heard reports of people getting spoiled items, but it has not happened to me or my friends. Look for the TooGood2Go Reddit group. There are few Washington reviewers but the info is good and helped me learn how to maximize the app.

I like it but some paces are better than others. I’ve done:
Teamania - mostly good, some are leftovers for a reason, they are just not a good, not just they made too much.
Mama Lucia - mostly good
Empanada warehouse, can’t remember the name - I did not like it. Value was ok but quality of the frozen empanadas were not that great.
Fresh Baguette - I’ve gotten a lot of large loaves of bread that are too crusty. Not many pastries which I prefer
Cava - good but they limit you to one bowl. The $5 bowls are smaller than normal. It’s not worth my time to go out at 10 pm for one small bowl.
Le Pain Quotidien - I got a huge loaf of bread the size of my head but the crust was soooo thick it was inedible. Not many pastries.
Le Madeline - the best! But the stopped participating. Pastries were awesome, loved their boxes.

I use it regularly. I really depends on the place - some are a good deal, and some are not. Look at the menus for the places you are considering, look at the ratings the other people give them on Too good to go.

I tried it and I paid for food that ultimately cost less than what I'd paid (and wasn't something we liked).

Yes, I've used it many times and love it. My favorite place to get bags from is a coffee shop that gives us a full bag of pastries, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, etc... We usually eat the breakfast sandwiches and things that won't last right away and freeze the pastries. It's so easy to pull a frozen pastry out the night before to have for breakfast. My other favorite is a fish taco restaurant that has a bag of sides and they are always delicious and make a fun dinner.
