I love my Purple mattress and it has spoiled me from sleeping in most other beds. There are different levels of firmness—I love our Purple 4. (We tried them all out at Mattress Center.)

I have the Osteo pillow from Amazon. My mattress is IKEA. It’s called Morgedal. Combined, it’s the best sleep I’ve had in a long time.

I’m naturally a stomach sleeper but I have to sleep on my back now because of neck issues.

I just got the Kaunda pillow. Tonight is my first night. We’ll see. Expensive but if it helps then I’ll be thrilled.

Tell me more. Do you sleep only on your back? How long did it take to get used to it?

DH and I had terrible back pain. We bought a latex mattress from the online Arizona Mattress Company in 2014 and it's still great. The topper is ready for replacement and the base is fine.

What are you doing for pillow? I have a beauty rest pillow that I got as a free gift with my mattress. People keep trying to steal it. DH migrates to it

All neck and back pain have returned. Our mattress is pretty old and while it doesn't feel compressed, it just doesn't do me any good even though I put a memory foam topper on last year. It is a Saatva hybrid.

Thinking Santa might need to shove one down the chimney so I don't have to sleep on the sofa anymore!

DH used to have a Tempurpedic, but I absolutely hated the feeling of being stuck in the sand. I am a side sleeper and like a pretty firm base with a pillow top.

Any recommendations? If I can try it locally, that would be terrific. In DC, but will travel out to MD or VA.

What was the out of town bed like? Soft or firmer than yours? What do you sit in for work? Did you order a chair?

NP, but thanks for this. I filled out a survey for one of those online mattress influencer types, and they recommended a Winkbed ... with an affiliate marketing link of course.

I love my Leesa (original) Hybrid. I bought it online without trying it, but I believe some West Elm's have them on the floor to try out.

I would call first, though.

Following!

We went to Disney/Universal in November. We walked like 5-6 miles a day. I was really worried because usually I have so much hip pain/back pain/stiffness.

I had none. I felt great. Went all day long. Came home and the back pain and hip pain came roaring back. Ugh.
