I really like mozzarella sticks and the little hot dogs wrapped in pastry puffs. Basically I'm a whore for Trader Joe's frozen appetizers.

taquitos, baked brie with fig jam on top, ham & cheese sliders, arancini, deviled eggs, beer/cheese dip with pretzels, stuffed mushrooms, pigs in a blanket, cocktail meatballs, buffalo chicken dip.

This time of year, I'd want some things to be warm.

I would probably make a champagne punch

For food, some dips, veggie tray, little sandwiches, I made baked crispy Boursin recently and served it with sliced baguettes. It was easy and good. Maybe some bacon wrapped scallops. Shrimp cocktail. Little desserts.

My husband and I are hosting a bunch of friends (around 15-20) for a casual NYE party. We will not be waiting for midnight (good ol' aging) so this would be more of a cocktail dinner type. We are thinking of doing the usual charcuterie, but please recommend other food or drinks that you'd be happy to see if you were to host/attend this type of event!
