The percentile ranks are available in both age and grade. I believe looking at grade level percentile makes more sense since the decision is about whether to expose this child to above grade material or not. I dont know what AAP looks at though.

Your school will mail a paper home that gives stanines by age (to the month, I think?) and by grade. Some schools sent them in backpacks - our school mailed it and we got it after break started.

Those are all 99th percentile. The stanines come with the Cogat test report, not the Fairfax test report. The AAP committee doesn't look at stanines. Probably those are all 9, you can look online at other reports that people have posted.

I only have my kids standard age scores, but I don't know how they correlate to stanines or pecentiles. Some schools seem to have more information disbursed. Can anyone shed some light on these numbers?
