Looked it up and ordered the set. Thank you for the tip!

Corelle. They’re bulletproof. I don’t like heavy dishes so these work forms.

Another Corelle hater here, but YMMV.

Crate and Barrel has several different lines of all white dishes that are light and sturdy China (not pottery, which is heavier and more fragile). The bonus is that they carry them open stock in the Outlet store, so you can replenish when you need more.

Corelle. Cheap and sleek and light weight compared to the others

Pillivuyt in plain white from Williams-Sonoma. Several style options. And unlike most china, Pillivuyt has been tested & verified as lead-free. It even passed the extreme California Prop 65 testing.

I got these for my wedding in 1996 and Crate and Barrel still make them and I still love my set. I have place settings for 16.

Another Corelli fan! They’re light, stack easily and don’t always break when the kids drop them.

Costco has a nice set of white dishes. I saw it today at the Newington Costco. I think it’s by Mikasa.
