Good news at the end?
From Case? No. Got waitlisted and then they had some crazy steps to stay on the WL. Dropped out right away.
Waitlisted after deferred?! that is tough! Please share your kid's stats if possible and where is he/she now? We will need to redo our college list with this unexpected deferral.

Good news at the end?
From Case? No. Got waitlisted and then they had some crazy steps to stay on the WL. Dropped out right away.

Lovvvvvve Case Western. My daughter is really enjoying it, and doing well academically. For those interested in healthcare, you have the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital, the VA - lots of volunteer opportunities to build a resume.

You need to tell us what your kid considers a fun social life. Is lots of alcohol filled parties important to them? Or do they prefer other social activities?

Also - if your kid is looking for big ten football and tailgating- Case is not that atmosphere. No one goes to the football games.

My son is a 2nd year and he loves Case. He is very serious about school. He has made good friends and goes out on weekends only.

My son is a first year and seems to be having fun. He’s not in a fraternity but made an effort to seek out clubs when he first got there. It’s not a big rah rah school and I don’t see that changing soon, but I also don’t think that’s unusual at D3 schools.

Case western is on our list because it checks all of the academic/city/campus criteria, and seems academically like a great fit for my kid. We visited it and my kid seems to like the campus and Cleveland. But he wants a school with fun social life, lots to do.
