No; as someone stated they have different undertones and it will look like you tried to match but couldn’t. Either do all one finish or mix two contrasting

Mixing chrome and stainless steel I think is considered more acceptable since the undertones are the same. Some of our appliances and other items in the home have stainless steel and chrome mixed together, if only in small touches.

We have mostly polished chrome (sink faucets, towel/TP holders, shower faucets, even toilet flusher) but our light fixture is brushed. I think it looks fine, but I wouldn’t take it farther than that.

If anything maybe mix chrome with something like matte black and nickel with brass. But don’t assume you can substitute chrome for nickel and vice versa.

I’m redoing the primary bathroom and I’m wondering if I can have a mix of chrome and polished nickel or if that’s a decorating no-no. Sink and drawer pulls would be chrome, the light fixtures would be polished nickel, and the towel racks would be chrome. Cabinets are white, shower wall tile is white, floor tile is pale gray with white marveling, and wall color is a pale celery.
