Subject: Teen loses AirPods at least annually !!

I have two teens. One never loses anything. I can't imagine the other one keeping a pair of air pods for 8 whole months.

Stop paying to replace them. My 10th grader still uses her first pair from 6th grade. I told her I was only buying them once.

My DD is 15 and doesn't work and doesn't drive. She gets $10 per week as an allowance for her chores. She also has savings. Once she runs out of money because of everything she constantly loses, she will simply go without. She has broken two sets of mine and so isn't allowed to use them anymore.
I agree with others - maybe she needs headphones so she won't lose them.

This isn't an Epipen, please don't be ridiculous and think that a listening device is somehow critical to carry around.
My kid carries epinephrine: for temperature variations, it's in an insulated case, and it needs to contain two Epipens per his protocol. He makes room for it.

My severely ADHD teen has never lost anything in his life. So even if your teen has attention issues, she really should be more careful, and I would not buy several pairs in a row.
We're not an AirPod household. I can't stand things in my ear. We have headphones, and if my kids want AirPods, they'll pay for it themselves. They have not done so yet.

They ended up getting over the head headphones after losing multiple pairs of Airpods. The big headphones are back in style anyway.
