It’s so much better and cheaper than trying to ski in the U.S. Airfares in the winter are cheap.

Oooh. I love this idea.

You can fly direct to Martha's Vineyard in the summer.

We like FL when it’s cold and VT or MA in the summer. I like short flights too. The nonstop to Denver isn’t too bad either.

We just went to San Juan with our preschooler which we chose bc of the short flight and 15 min Uber to our hotel in condado. It was great.

Kinda depends on what you want, OP.

You could go to Miami.

You could also go to Burlington, VT.

There are TONS of short flights from our 3 airports.

Well, I'm interested in what others see as short. And it's all relative. For example, if you want to visit Europe -- a nonstop is available to Western Europe's Lisbon (7 hours), and nonstop to Eastern Europe's Greece is not (12 hr to Athens), at least not that I found with a quick search. But I was inspired by the poster in the other thread pointing out how easy it is to get to the Bahamas; my last trip to the Caribbean was to St Lucia, and it was 8 hours of flying (1 connection) and then a long drive across the island to the resort. That's not "short" compared to 3 hours from DC to Nassau.
