Yeah, not accurate. At least not if IQ tests are accurate. In the 80s as a kid, mine was measured at 135 - which was not high enough to qualify for the G&T program at my school. Scored 1510 on the SAT, which the chart says would equate to an IQ of 150 or so. Definitely too high. I am bright but bright enough to know I'm not that bright! I have worked with people who are truly brilliant, and I can say I am not one of them.

The SAT hasn’t been able to be used for admission to MENSA since I think sometime in the 80s. So I don’t think this chart is accurate.

I'm sorry but there is no way this is accurate. For one, I thought the 50th percentile for the SAT was somewhere around 1000. Second, I scored 1280 and I DEFINITELY do not have an IQ of 130.

Given that people can study for and retake the SAT, it seems that it is not useful to compare it to an IQ score.

Lol. My IQ is 142. I have ADD and couldn't even sit through the SAT let along get a decent score on it, especially given the fact that I barely passed Geometry and Algebra. I eventually scored 99th percentile on the LSAT though after getting through my open-admissions arts college. Go figure. Wonder how that LSAT score correlates to IQ?

It doesn't. This is all nonsense. I don't know why you DCUM people are always on about things like this.

Apparently not so simple, because the standard deviation of the SAT is 200, not 100.

The standard deviation of IQ tests is nominally 15. The standard deviation of the 1600-point SAT is 100. The math is relatively simple.
