Yep, it's hard. There's almost always an impatient idiot waiting around to cut in front of anyone who leaves more than a 3 ft gap.![]()
I leave a safe distance in front of me, then somebody cuts into that space. Solution?
Ease up on the gas and reestablish my safe following distance. Might this happen more than once on a drive? Yes. It's OK.
It's hard not to get agitated, flash your high beams, tailgate and blow your horn. But you can do it.
