This but also: spouse who “insists” gets to do the work

I just made one at Walgreeens (thanks for discount code PP!) - picking it up in a hour. Super easy and if I send Tuesday or Wednesday they’ll likely still show up pre Xmas.
This really is not a heavy lift though I totally get telling DH to do it since he cares more!

While there are other holidays to consider, Christmas begins on Dec. 25 and lasts through Jan. 6, so why are you acting like this is “too late”?

Disagree! I love photo cards any time of year. New Years cards are a nice way to break up the winter doldrums

I did them this morning. I only sent them to people who would actually care if they didn't get one...so my three cousins, aunt and uncle, inlaws, and one friend.

Spouse insists? Then he can get off his a$$ and do it.

Homie don’t play that game.

Do it or don’t do it. But if you are the one doing it, it is done YOUR way.

Are you actually going to write anything on these cards, even just “Happy New Year from the Smiths”? If not, don’t bother. No one needs another family ad. If all you are going to do is mail someone a family photo from Minted, just post it on FB instead.

Why? That’s just mean.

If your spouse insists, let him figure it out and do it. Why should you take up the slack?

What's a relatively fast option to do a new years card?

I've been sick and struggling to make a massive end-of-year work deadline. I suggested just sending regular old greeting cards and sticking in a photo we get developed at the drugstore. My spouse insists it must be an actual photo card, but won't actually make one, so here we are. To be fair he also was a little sick.

Can anyone offer advice or commiserate?
