Low average can be accomodated at any of the SN schools. I think that’s probably the profile that stands to gain the most from better instruction in academic basics. With average non-verbal IQ it seems like you kid has a lot of potential. I’d just focus on a laser to get him reading and writing over the next few years then see where you are then. BTW, with significant attention issues, I’d take the score with a grain of salt.

At that age, Diener or KTS, and be prepared to reevaluate as he gets older and his needs become clearer.

Just got my 5 year olds neuropsych back. And his general cognitive ability is low average and non verbal iq was average. The tester said that she thought that his scores were underestimated because she also thinks he has very significant adhd (attention + strong family history was the issue for us getting updated) so he wasn’t medicated for the test and we haven’t done any behavioral interventions for it yet. But low average and average is what the paperwork says so I’m just wondering if there are SN schools for someone of that profile as opposed to the 2e type.
