Best not to judge until regular decisions come out as well

So far, Walls’ results are underwhelming. Does anyone have insight about what’s going on?

So sad..... The kids and their families have worked hard. A lot of merit based aid so far. No need to be critical of anyone's choice! If it's not your the thing, just STFU....

NP but I assume you are a troll. This is just what this poster has heard about. I’ve also heard Columbia, NYU, Macalaster, UPenn, Harvard. But something really must be going on!

My post about Walls’ results being underwhelming is based on its Instagram account. It’s not based on what “I've heard." It's based on what I’ve seen.

It would be nice if schools published official results each year, but you can’t go by instagram accounts.

My 2023 JR kid is now at a top 5 school and would never post that on instagram, nor any friends.

Okay sure let me clarify. I know students have gotten into all schools listed thus far in this thread. Hopefully that changes your feeling of being underwhelmed. If not I don’t know what your expectations are.

People who need aid have to drop this attitude. If you filled out the school’s net cost calculator honestly and you were satisified with the aid it provided, you should ED that school.

You can absolutely get out of an ED decision if the actual aid does not meet what the school indicated in the NCC. I know many people when given an inadequate aid package, called the school and explained the problem and the school quickly rectified.

Any updates from DC publics and charters?

I heard that BASIS DC, which only has around 60 in the senior class, already has kids admitted to Yale, Penn, Tufts, Hopkins, and Emory.
