You definitely have a chance for RD. 40% is decent.

From their web site:

67.6% early decision admit rate
66.8% early action admit rate
39.7% regular decision admit rate

The acceptance rate was 56% last year. Even if the school goes heavy on ED/EA, I wouldn't say it's a waste of time to apply at any point if your stats are within their range.

My junior is looking at St Olaf - would any of you mind posting your teens GPA/SAT/ACT? Just want to see if it's over the 3.6 gpa and other St Olaf benchmarks. Thanks.

Maybe look at the common data set. It may have more detail on composition of class admitted EA/ED versus RD

My kid applied EA — this is off the top of my head, but if I recall correctly they fill 25% of class in the ED phase. So nowhere near a school like Tulane, which is very ED heavy and doesn’t have a lot of RD slots left.

There are a couple of short supplementals, nothing terrible.

Hi,

I am considering St Olaf for RD round.

Wanted to know, is it EA heavy or not. Don't to waste my time if its EA heavy.
