This. At some point aon went broad before his vertical height caught up. I bought husky then cause it was same issue op is having, pants that fit in width were too long.

+1. Any athletic pant material with stretch. We always find them online. DS wore Husky until switching to mens in middle school. Searching golf pants will give you a good start.

Is his waist significantly smaller thank his butt/thighs? My some has pretty much the same stats and wears a lot of adidas sweatpants.

I just googled boys husky pants. Kohls and JC Penny’s offers them too.

My son is 16 and 6’4”, 240 pounds (football player). He wears golf shorts and pants. The stretchy material is a game changer.

My nephew wore husky at that age and we used to get Gap, Children’s Place, Old Navy, OshKosh(they only went up to 14 husky), and JC Penney. JC Penney and Gap were also good for shirts because they have(or had) husky sizing for a selection of their shirts as well.

Yes, Old Navy for us. They have some that come in plus and get the ones called 360 stretch or something like that.

Usually 28 is the shortest though.

Husky does fit well. The same size in husky gives you that extra few inches for comfort. Gap, Old Navy. I'm surprised the Lands End pair you got ripped. We've had great luck with them.

I find that it is worth it to look at the size charts and actually measure the kid.

They make men’s pants in varying inseams.

Women’s sizes?

Former DC resident here. My youngest son 11. He's a broad build and has a huge butt and thighs that makes pants-shopping a chore. He can't keep going up to men's sizes because of the length (he's 5'1, 110lbs). We tried a pair from Land's End that ended up ripping.
Does anyone have a positive experience of any brands that do sizes for bigger boys.
