Deferred. Applied as a safety. Have already gotten into much higher ranked schools so we are taking it off our list.

OOS deferred. 28 ACT. 3.5 GPA.

Only kids I know who got in are well above the common data set average. Kids well within range (which will not change dramatically) deferred.

On College Confidential, somebody said their kid got accepted to Clemson and UGA but got deferred from South Carolina.

The letter said the in state tuition waiver and scholarship over 4 years was valued at $90k in the second paragraph of the letter. It didn't tell me what portion was for the in state tuition waiver and what portion was for the scholarship.
