The fact that APS is trying to solve my child’s reading issues via an app after APS caused my child’s reading problems by closing school for a year and pretending to teach them (via an app) is just one more reason we are leaving for private school. Sorry to the rest of you.
Oh interesting. Our letter doesn't say the method so I guess it's not a standard letter. But for what it is worse the governors office provided a list of acceptable "tutoring programs" and Lexia was given as an example. I know folks are quick to hate APS but it was instructions given by the State.
My kids letter also said afterschool (but no idea what time). We do private tutoring two days a week so I am a but worried four days of tutoring will be exhausting. I figure we will give it a try.
