Home is a total disaster, on the verge of divorce, definitely another party involved. I was just curious about what this newest number was. Not sure why any of it matter anymore?

Hmm. It could be anything. There's a glitch on my DD's (ancient) phone that gives me those kinds of messages when I call her, but when she calls me, the calls go through. All our phones are on the same Google Fi bill. I can't see anything in the settings of her phone that would cause this.

What else is going on at home?

OP again - i could also see the phone numbers. But now there’s suddenly this new number and I’m just curious about what’s up. Maybe some sort of burner app…

No, people don’t have affairs that way. They use WhatsApp or something. Not something traceable. Or they use a burner.

I could see every instance of calls and texts with my ex and his AP when I found out. He never thought about it being on the phone bill!

+1. all the call and text #s are on the extended cell phone bill. i googled the phone numbers and could see who my now-ex was calling.

Unfortunately when calling and texting over wifi it doesn’t show up on the phone bill. At least, not for AT&T

Could it be a burner phone?

DH has gotten several calls in the last week from a phone number i don’t recognize. It’s from area code that points back to a city in Canada where we don’t know anyone, and when I tried calling the number, I get a message that says
welcome to Wireless Network, your call cannot be completed because the called party is temporarily unavailable.

Is this something anyone is familiar with? It’s not a block on my number because i called from another phone number (not my own). And then I tried from my office phone and got a message that the number was disconnected. Anyone have any ideas?

Why are you even bothering to call the number

OP again -to clarify, I’m about 99% sure it’s something sketchy based on other things going on at home. I’m just sort of curious as to whether this is some sort of known way of inconspicuously having phone calls with your affair partner.

One of the calls lasted 11 mins. Don’t think DH is chatting with a telemarketer….
