You will need an Instagram account.

If you know last year's handle but can't find this year's...for the most part, use last year's handle but switch out the 23 for a 24. Example - if you find Wootton's handle from last year (peaceoutpatriots23), just search for the handle peaceoutpatriots24.

Make sure your kid knows that many, probably most, don’t post.

They can be hard to find. Some have a variation of the school initials, some the school mascot, some the school name...
Then usually the class year...

Then maybe "graduates" or "decisions" or something like that....
So if there is a Kennedy High school and their mascot is the Kangaroos...it might be
"KennedyDecisions24"
or
"Kangaroo 24 Grads"
or
"KennedyRoos24Graduates"
or
"KHSclassof24Decisons"
or an infinite variation of those words and more.

An easier way to find it might just be to find the instagram accounts of some of the kids or clubs/organizations at the school and see what they follow.

Agreed. Wish the kids were kinder and made a point of congratulating all. For some kids, their friends comment multiple times to get the comment count up. That’s fine, but why not congratulate all?

If you really want to follow it ask your kid for the name.

They are hard to find in searches - but all of the kids know what it is…

If you want to look at it, you can always just create an Instagram account with a fake name and no intention to use it. Don't comment. Let the kids have their fun.

Instagram is a fairly locked down ecosystem that isn't very accessible from google searches. Even with your own account, the page you're interested in may be private and inaccessible to you.

I know there is a site for this year, as my kid showed it to me. Was trying to keep an eye on it only because it will give me some insight into my kid's stress level, as I know they are obsessively checking it.
