Do you know if DE is for any student in HS or only when they are in certain grades? As in, can a 9th grader also participate?

A 9th grader could probably participate but they would have to keep all their HS classes. The school won’t allow for kids to stop taking hs classes until 11/12 grade. So the class would be completed in the students own time (after school, weekends, etc.). Reach out to your counselor or Dual Enrollment specialist at your school for more information.

Also, be sure to take a course that counts toward HS graduation or their degree.

Can a student take classes at MC the summer after her 10th grade year if she is involved in the Dual Enrollment program?
