I dunno. Nothing? My kid is a very gifted artist and she learned from youtube. I have zero interest in it but she is obsessed. She crafts with whatever old random stuff she can find around the house (and now things she takes from the school art room), and I buy her things she specifically asks for.

I think just let them have at the stuff you already have and if they get into it, yay, if not, that's okay too.

I did do an "art" class for my kid for homeschool, and we watched youtube tutorials on how to draw a ball (with shading) and things like that. It's not like he could have me do it because I was learning with him. But we only did it a few times because neither of us was into it.

How old are your kids? My kids love to draw/paint, and they are not very good. But they're 3 and 6. If your kids are young, check out Creative Galaxy on Amazon Prime. It's a show about art, and shows real kids doing art projects at the end that are not perfect. It really got my kids into doing art at home (rather than just at school, where they color/paint all the time).

I am not really good, but I have experiences with oil pastel, watercolor, acrylic, live portrait, drawing, cartoon and crafts. I know a little but of something, and I have taken 5 art classes when I was in college and a few classes outside of college. Now question is how to be my 2 kids' teacher to introduce them art? I tried, and they want me to draw for them, color for them etc. The same goes fpr making crafts or do school art project. They just want the end products nice looking.

Any professional can tell me which art sets should I get first for them as a beginner? Something from michaels or amazon or plaza art? They each have their own oil pastels, coloring pencils, drawing pad, crayons, origami paper, watercolor paint/paintbrush and watercolor paper. And they are all untouched yet because I have not started yet.
