Same here, too. One too many broken glass carafes later, I got the Frieling insulated stainless steel. Keeps my coffee hot for hours.

Frieling insulated stainless steel. Ours is 12 years old and still looks brand new. We use it 5 mornings a week (espresso and lattes on the weekends.)

A thermos French press will keep your coffee hot for a few hours. For someone who is drinking a pot solo, that's a huge plus.

Help I need to buy one for someone who’s a FP newbie - so many to choose from. I read glass is best, yet many aren’t glass.

I’d love some suggestions of what to buy. Is there a particular size too? This is household of one coffee drinker
