I would definitely take it in your situation. I took it when I had Covid, and the other nice thing was that it turned my symptoms around in a day. I didn’t have rebound.

I have long covid too (had covid Nov of 22, and have pretty much never stopped coughing).

I would take the paxlovid. No question.

It helped me and I’d take it again in a heartbeat.

Yes, I would and have. I don’t have long covid but myocarditis with my last covid infection.

I'd love to know what medications and supplements you've had success with, OP.

Absolutely would take it. I rebounded but am pretty sure the Paxlovid kept the virus out of my lungs.

I did get the rebound and I don’t think rebound is uncommon but in your case it definitely sounds like a good idea. If you rebound you just isolate for another 5 days.

I took it on the third day of onset of symptoms, I still feel miserable today, which is the 6th day. I have such bad cough I have to wear a pad.

My husband has long COVID. If he got COVID again he would absolutely be taking the Paxlovid.

I know several people who have taken it including me and all had a milder form of covid and one tested neg within five days. I tested positive for a week or two after symptoms were completely gone which only took a few days but testing positive didn't cause me any problems. I would take it again.

My Mom just took it earlier this week and felt significantly better about 24 hours later.

Knowing your history, I would also take it

I would take it. I've heard of rebound covid but the people I know who took paxlovid did not experience it.

I would take it. It's more likely to help prevent the long Covid returning.

45, F. Fully vaxed. I’ve had long covid for several years but my symptoms from it have greatly improved with medications, supplements, and time.

Just tested Covid positive again, the NP prescribed paxlovid as an option with the caveat that there are no guarantees it will help prevent long covid symptoms returning which I completely understand.

With rebound covid seeming to be relatively common, I’m stuck on what to do.just looking for thoughts, I’ll ultimately decide regardless but if anyone here has experience or insights it would be great to hear them.
